Dinosaur Train Dino Poop from Uncle Milton

Full review: www.timetoplaymag.com First things first: This isn’t really dinosaur poop, a fact that Uncle Milton feels is so important to let you know that they call it out on the package. (We know you were concerned about that.) This soft, pliable, dark brown modeling clay is intended to resemble what dinosaur poop might have looked like. The compound comes inside a plastic dome that looks like a pile of “poop.” Hidden in the “poop” itself are pieces of what the dinosaur ate, such as a fish skeleton. Kids can put together the pieces and make fossil imprints in the modeling clay. There are three different Dino Poop sets to collect and play with: Omnivore, Herbivore, and Carnivore.

Dinosaur Train Hatchers from Uncle Milton

With Hatchers, kids can “grow” their own Dinosaur Train character, such as Buddy and Tiny. Just place the egg in a large glass of room temperature water. Within 24-48 hours, the character will crack through the egg and start to grow up to four times its original size. Remove the vinyl character figure from the water when it has stopped growing. After being left out of the water, the character figure will shrink back to its original size, but all kids have to do is place the figure back in water to see it grow again. www.timetoplaymag.com

Dinosaur Train All Aboard Game from Pressman Toy

Straight from the hit TV show on PBS Kids comes the Dinosaur Train All Aboard Game. Featuring Buddy and other Dinosaur Train characters, this game takes kids through the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods as they race along the game board’s train tracks. In this game, kids can be one of seven characters from the show—Buddy, Tiny, Shiny, Don, Cory, Tank, or Mr. Conductor. Special Stopwatch spaces help players get closer to the nest, while Dinosaur Crossing spaces send players back. The first player to reach the nest area in the center of the board wins. The All Aboard Game brings the TV show’s message of encouraging scientific thinking skills to kids in a fun new way. The game is for two to six players. www.timetoplaymag.com
